The objective of this work is to understand the lines of force and mediation relations between the field and the scientific text in the social sciences. In turn, I seek to understand how this relationship is expressed in the constitution of new methods, with emphasis on focus groups and comprehensive interviews. It is hoped that this will deepen discussions on the possibilities of using new research instruments in field work and, particularly, in ethnography.
