Abstract

Public administration in Brazil has experienced, throughout its history, three evolutionary models, namely: patrimonialist administration, bureaucratic administration and managerial administration. Such models have undergone gradual processes of evolution, without being completely eliminated in the practical field. The purpose of this article is to reveal the presence of managerialism, through managerial technological tools, within the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia. To reach this point, the work was done through a research of what is proper and peculiar of the new model mentioned above in the extra and intrainstitutional aspects.

Ravel Rodrigues Ribeiro, Instituto Federal Baiano

Pós-Graduado em Administração Pública pela Universidade Cândido Mendes (2018), graduado em Geografia (Licenciatura) pela Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2011) e atualmente graduando em Gestão de Recursos Humanos pela UNICESUMAR. Técnico-Administrativo efetivo do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Baiano.Experiência no âmbito da Administração Pública (ênfase em Direito Administrativo) e atua na área orçamentária/financeira. Já atuou no campo das Licitações/Compras Governamentais. Tem interesse nos seguintes temas: Administração Pública e Gestão de Pessoas.
